About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join a well‑established residential care home in the South West. This role offers the chance to lead a dedicated team while delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care to elderly residents.
Key responsibilities
- Support the day‑to‑day running of the home alongside management
- Lead, supervise and support care staff on shift
- Administer medication in line with policies and training
- Maintain high standards of person‑centred care at all times
- Act as a point of contact for staff, residents and families
- Contribute to care planning, documentation and compliance
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant or Team Leader
- Medication training
- Proven experience within elderly residential care
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or working towards it
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational abilities
- Genuine passion for high‑quality care
Required skills
- Medication administration (trained)
