Senior Civil Engineer – Water Infrastructure

About the role

Skanska is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Infrastructure team on the Anglian Water project in East Anglia. You will help deliver water recycling and supply schemes that protect the environment and support communities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a diverse portfolio of water recycling and supply projects on time, safely and sustainably.
• Lead, coach and develop junior engineers, building capability within the team.
• Drive low‑carbon, outcome‑focused solutions and incorporate digital innovation.
• Build strong professional networks across the @one Alliance and partner community.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement and Construction Managers.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Ideally chartered or actively working towards chartership.
• Strong practical civil design experience, preferably in the water or wastewater sector.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Good understanding of modular construction methods, processes and best practice.
