Senior Clinical Pharmacist

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at Lorn & Islands Hospital. The role focuses on delivering safe, patient‑centred pharmaceutical care across a range of clinical areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to surgical, medical, HDU and, where possible, oncology & haematology patients.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise medication use.
• Lead and contribute to improvement projects aimed at cost‑effective and safe use of medicines.
• Support the development of junior staff and promote best practice in pharmacy.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant clinical pharmacy experience.
• Post‑graduate qualification (Clinical Diploma, Masters level or equivalent).
• Independent prescribing qualification.
• Strong communication and time‑management abilities.
