Senior Cloud Engineer – Hackney (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic team in Hackney on an umbrella contract basis. The role involves designing, implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions on AWS/Azure.
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and integrate systems.
• Monitor performance, manage incidents and optimise service availability.
• Maintain cloud security, governance, compliance and risk controls.
• Support Windows and Linux operating systems and enterprise applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud architecture and solution design.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance and compliance.
• Experience working in Agile, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant cloud certification (AWS or Azure) preferred.
