Senior Commercial Account Executive / Director

About the role

The Senior Commercial Account Executive will join a fast‑growing broking firm that is on track to exceed £10m in revenue. You will manage a complex portfolio of real‑estate and construction risks from pre‑acquisition through to completed assets, supporting the company’s organic growth and upcoming MGA ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Place insurance for developers covering legal indemnities, rights of light, construction project cover and completed‑asset real‑estate policies.
• Prepare renewal packs, schedules, certificates and process invoices.
• Transfer existing business to preferred partner insurers to build a book suitable for delegated authority.
• Maintain and grow a retail‑focused client book with occasional wholesale property transactions.
• Supervise two direct reports and provide leadership across the wider team.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience as a Senior Account Executive in property, construction or related insurance lines.
• Proven track record handling Commercial and Residential property, Professional Indemnity, Legal Indemnity, D&O and combined commercial risks.
• Ability to work independently and influence business growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Acturis insurance platform.
