Senior Commercial Insurance Broker - Property

About the role

We are partnering with an independent insurance brokerage that is expanding its Commercial Real Estate division. The Senior Commercial Insurance Broker will own and grow a portfolio of commercial property clients, delivering tailored risk solutions while operating with a high degree of autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Build, develop and manage a portfolio of commercial real‑estate clients.
• Advise clients on a wide range of property risks, including owners, developers and investment portfolios.
• Negotiate with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive, bespoke terms.
• Generate new business through personal networks and industry relationships.
• Handle renewals, new business submissions and mid‑term adjustments while maintaining exceptional service.
• Work independently with flexible workload management.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker with strong exposure to commercial real‑estate risks.
• Track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
• Technical knowledge of Property Owners, Commercial Property and Development insurance.
• Experience placing complex commercial property programmes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to grow a personal portfolio.
• Professional insurance qualifications (e.g., CII certification).
