About the role
This senior commercial lawyer position sits within a global client’s in‑house legal team in London. The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the office, and offers the chance to work on high‑value, multi‑jurisdictional commercial contracts while developing both technical and commercial legal expertise.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts across multiple sectors and jurisdictions.
- Provide practical, commercially‑focused legal advice to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business colleagues to identify and manage legal risk.
- Support the legal team in delivering high‑quality, business‑oriented legal solutions.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 7‑15 years post‑qualification experience.
- Strong background in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs.
- Motivation to grow within a successful in‑house legal team handling multi‑jurisdictional work.
