Senior Commercial Legal Counsel – Remote

About the role

This is a fully remote, permanent position for a senior commercial lawyer who will join a well‑known organisation in an in‑house legal environment. You will act as the primary legal partner for key client stakeholders, delivering high‑quality commercial legal services across multiple industry sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the legal contact and partner to key clients.
• Supervise a small team of lawyers and paralegals handling a broad commercial contract portfolio.
• Lead negotiation, review and drafting of a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Help shape and refine a progressive legal service delivery model.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of legal, operational and technology processes.
• Collaborate closely with client‑side legal teams and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified solicitor with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in general commercial contracts.
• Strong drafting and negotiation abilities with a client‑focused approach.
• Technologically literate with interest in legal innovation and process improvement.
• Confident stakeholder engagement and strong commercial acumen.
