Senior Commercial Manager – 2‑Month Contract in London

About the role

Advanced Resource Managers (ARM) is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager for a two‑month contract in London. You will lead commercial and procurement activities, ensuring that requirements are captured, value for money is delivered, and public‑sector objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate commercial agreements and influence senior stakeholders across complex disciplines.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships, applying strategic planning and category management.
• Oversee project and finance management, including post‑qualification activities.
• Utilise ERP systems to track contracts, spend and performance.
• Report on procurement performance in line with central government and public‑sector regulations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in commercial and procurement management within the public sector or central government.
• Strong understanding of police service challenges and how procurement can generate efficiency savings.
• Proven ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with PRINCE2 project methodology.
