Senior Commercial Product Partnership Specialist
checkout.com · London
Job description
About the role
Checkout.com is looking for a Senior Commercial Product Partnership Specialist to join its Commercial team in the UK. The role links the global Product Management organization with regional Commercial teams, acting as the region's subject matter expert on product expertise and market intelligence. You will drive product adoption and revenue among merchants and help shape how features are shipped and positioned in the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Become the regional product authority: master the Checkout.com product suite and know which products, features and configurations fit local merchant needs and regulatory requirements.
- Drive product-market fit by filtering and feeding back market needs to global Product teams and tailoring the value proposition to win local market share.
- Own market intelligence: analyse macro trends in the regional payment landscape, emerging verticals and technologies, and monitor competitors to give commercial leadership actionable insights.
- Lead the regional Go-To-Market strategy for a targeted portfolio of services, equipping the local sales force to position, sell and support them.
- Build and manage a pipeline of merchants, forecast and track Net Revenue impact, and focus on cross-selling chargeable products.
Required profile
- 6+ years of experience in commercial strategy, product management, management consulting or a complex B2B sales environment.
- Ability to learn quickly, absorb technical concepts and explain them to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with data, forecasting revenue and building commercial pipelines, including identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
- Natural ability to analyse market trends and macro-economics, and to partner with global Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance and regional Commercial stakeholders.
- Decisions based on data such as market numbers, usage stats and financial metrics.
- FinTech or payments experience is a plus but not required.
What we offer
- Hybrid working model with three days per week in the office.
- A culture of real ownership, fewer blockers and recognition for impact.
