Senior Communications Manager – 6‑month contract

About the role

LUX is seeking a Senior Communications Manager on an initial six‑month contract to lead the creation and execution of integrated communications campaigns for its diverse client portfolio, which includes FMCG and public‑sector organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver end‑to‑end communications strategies and creative campaigns.
• Manage day‑to‑day communications activities, ensuring projects are on time, on budget and meet LUX’s award‑winning standards.
• Produce media materials such as press releases, media alerts, media lists and event guest lists.
• Secure high‑profile press coverage through proactive pitching and media monitoring.
• Oversee influencer relations, from scoping and contracting to ongoing liaison.
• Track campaign performance against KPIs, prepare evaluation reports and contribute to weekly account reporting.
• Collaborate with brand, design and other discipline teams, and support pitch and proposal development.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of agency experience in PR and influencer engagement.
• Proven ability to manage deadline‑driven, integrated marketing campaigns.
• Strong copy‑writing ability with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent client‑service and time‑management skills.
• Extensive network of press and influencer contacts across the UK and Scotland.
• Familiarity with PR platforms such as Roxhill and emerging AI tools.
