Senior Communications Manager

About the role

We are a global fintech specialist looking for a Senior Communications Manager to shape and amplify our story across Europe. Based in London, you will design and execute communications strategies that enhance our reputation, support business growth and position our products and expertise at the forefront of the market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with B2B marketing objectives.
• Advise internal stakeholders, draft executive briefs and prepare senior leaders for media interactions and industry events.
• Lead proactive media relations, including writing pitches, press releases, commentary and other content.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists to secure coverage in UK financial and business press.
• Translate complex business and regulatory topics into engaging stories for social media, video and long‑form formats.
• Monitor news and industry trends to identify reactive and proactive storytelling opportunities.
• Track media coverage, maintain press lists and produce impact reports for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for opinion pieces, commentary and speaking engagements to showcase expertise.

Required profile

• Proven track record in communications within fintech, SaaS or fast‑paced technology businesses, preferably in‑house.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex subjects.
• Strong network of contacts in the UK financial and business press (ideal but not mandatory).
• Experience collaborating with marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging.
