Senior Community IV Nurse

About the role

Inizio is seeking an experienced nurse to lead its Homecare Programme across the East of England. The Senior Community IV Nurse will combine direct patient care with leadership duties, ensuring safe delivery of complex intravenous therapies in community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of community nurses.
• Provide high‑quality care to patients at home, in hospital and via virtual consultations.
• Facilitate safe transitions from hospital to home for patients receiving IV therapies.
• Maintain relationships with patients, carers, and NHS stakeholders.
• Support service quality, clinical governance, KPIs and performance standards.

Required profile

• NMC‑registered nurse with at least 2 years post‑registration experience.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and support junior staff.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.

Required skills

• Experience with Home Parenteral Nutrition (HPN) and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN).
• Proficiency in administering IV therapies and managing Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs).
