Senior Compliance Manager – Head of Compliance

About the role

We are partnering with a leading, highly regulated financial services organisation to recruit a Senior Compliance Manager (Head of Compliance). This senior, business‑facing position will work closely with senior stakeholders to interpret FCA regulations, influence decisions and ensure robust compliance outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and advise on FCA regulations and emerging regulatory developments.
• Support and enhance compliance frameworks, policies and controls.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, risk assessments and regulatory reviews.
• Provide compliance input into strategic initiatives and change programmes.
• Challenge and influence business decisions to ensure effective risk management.
• Produce clear and insightful compliance reporting for senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of FCA regulation and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience delivering compliance advisory support within financial services.
• Background in compliance monitoring, risk assessment or regulatory change.
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence and challenge.
• Ability to interpret complex regulation and apply it pragmatically.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
