Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a leading US law firm to hire a Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst. You will join a close‑knit team, applying your expertise in conflict checks and anti‑money‑laundering (AML) compliance while expanding your knowledge in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research, identify and verify new clients using online resources and research tools.
• Advise on AML processes for UK/EU clients and conduct AML risk analysis across risk tiers.
• Monitor existing clients and keep due‑diligence records up to date.
• Perform initial conflicts searches, review results, and flag potential issues to the Conflicts Lawyer.
• Prepare and distribute conflicts search reports to partners, associates and secretaries.
• Conduct corporate research, incorporate affiliated parties and craft effective search terms.
• Maintain clear documentation of all conflicts research and communications.

Required profile

• Proven compliance experience in AML and/or conflicts within a law‑firm setting.
• Familiarity with legal case‑management systems such as Intapp Open.
• Experience using compliance screening databases (e.g., S&P Capital IQ, Orbis, WorldCheck).
