Senior Corporate Solicitor – M&A & Corporate Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Solicitor to join our growing corporate team in Brighton. The role involves managing a high‑quality, varied caseload covering mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance and related transactions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute M&A transactions, business sales and acquisitions.
• Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements and shareholder agreements.
• Handle private equity and corporate finance deals.
• Provide commercial, client‑focused legal advice to entrepreneurs, owner‑managed businesses and investors.
• Contribute to business development and team growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical expertise in corporate law.
• Commercial, client‑focused approach.
• Proven ability to generate new work is advantageous.
