Senior Cyber Consultant – SIEM/XDR/SOAR Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Consultant to help organisations strengthen their Security Operations and threat detection capabilities. This client‑facing position will focus on designing, delivering and optimising SIEM, XDR and SOAR solutions while driving detection engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel preferred) and XDR/EDR solutions for enterprise clients.
• Develop detection content and use cases aligned to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Create and automate response playbooks using SOAR platforms.
• Write detection logic as code, applying Detection‑as‑Code best practices.
• Collaborate with SOC teams to improve overall SOC effectiveness and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a consultancy or customer‑facing cyber security role.
• Strong background in detection engineering and security automation.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions with clients.

Required skills

• Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM) and KQL query language.
• SOAR automation and playbook development.
• Python and/or PowerShell scripting.
• XDR/EDR technologies.
• MITRE ATT&CK framework knowledge.
• Azure security and cloud telemetry exposure.
