About the role

Our client, a leading professional services firm in Liverpool, is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to shape and execute their digital strategy. The role will drive online visibility, lead generation and business growth through SEO, content, website optimisation and demand generation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the digital strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Act as senior digital adviser to leadership and establish digital governance and reporting.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities using innovation and emerging technologies.
• Lead website development focusing on UX, accessibility, performance and conversion.
• Implement content and publishing standards and execute SEO and AI‑search visibility strategies.
• Drive technical SEO, content optimisation and digital PR initiatives to improve rankings and organic traffic.
• Oversee the digital content strategy, collaborating with senior leaders and subject‑matter experts.
• Manage paid media acquisition strategies and optimise ROI through data‑driven insights.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, agencies and digital suppliers.
• Lead, develop and mentor the digital marketing team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a senior digital marketing role, preferably within legal, professional services or another regulated sector.
• Proven success delivering digital strategies that generate growth and leads.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders, agencies, budgets and digital projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Experience with AI‑search optimisation and emerging digital technologies.
