Senior Director, Demand Generation EMEA (French/German)

About the role

Pendo is seeking a senior, hands‑on leader to own and grow its marketing pipeline across the EMEA region. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Marketing, you will shape demand‑generation strategy for the UK, DACH, France, Nordics and the Netherlands while working closely with regional sales leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver Pendo’s EMEA pipeline contribution target across all segments.
• Design and launch original, region‑first demand‑generation programmes (digital, ABM, account‑based plays) tailored to European buyers.
• Partner with EMEA sales leaders on account plans, pipeline coverage and deal acceleration.
• Develop a coherent EMEA marketing strategy that respects diverse markets, languages and buying behaviours.
• Serve as the primary EMEA voice in global marketing planning, advocating for regional investment.
• Lead and develop the EMEA demand‑generation function, including the Director of Field Marketing.
• Define co‑marketing strategy with regional partners, resellers and system integrators.
• Own performance reporting – pipeline contribution, ROI, funnel conversion and marketing‑attributed revenue.

Required profile

• 8+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience.
• 3–5+ years in a senior demand‑generation or regional marketing leadership role.
• Proven track record of building demand programmes from scratch for European markets.
• Fluency in French or German (or both) with deep understanding of those markets.
• Strong builder mindset – able to define paths where none exist.
• Curiosity and practical experience with AI tools as productivity multipliers.
