Senior Engineer - Automation QA

About the role

Hard Rock Digital is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join its rapidly growing product and technology teams. You will develop and execute an automated test strategy that provides high quality confidence throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on both web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Apply testing pyramid principles and white‑box techniques to design efficient, scalable automation solutions.
• Design, implement, execute and maintain UI automated tests for web (Playwright/Python) and mobile (Appium/Python) applications.
• Develop API automated tests in Python for the Hard Rock Digital technology stack.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test development and maintenance.
• Identify, own, and drive architectural changes and refactoring for the QA team.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, product owners and stakeholders to prioritize automation and ensure testability.
• Provide code review guidance and mentor junior QA team members.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for test scripts, frameworks and processes.
