Senior Engineering Manager – Lead Multiple Teams

About the role

Omnea is scaling its AI‑native procurement platform and needs a senior engineering leader to build and guide multiple high‑performing teams. You will own delivery of critical product areas while shaping technical strategy across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 2‑3 engineering teams (12‑20 engineers), fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement and high velocity.
• Define and refine engineering processes, architecture decisions and quality standards that scale with rapid growth.
• Partner with product, design and other stakeholders to align team structures, road‑maps and delivery outcomes.
• Ensure robust monitoring, observability and incident‑response practices while maintaining fast delivery cadence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years managing engineering teams, preferably in fast‑growing SaaS companies.
• Proven track record of scaling teams, improving velocity and quality, and delivering complex projects in ambiguous environments.
• Data‑driven decision‑making style, comfortable operating with incomplete information and influencing cross‑functional partners.

Required skills

• Modern web technologies (TypeScript, React).
• Cloud architecture and scalability, preferably AWS and serverless services.
• Understanding of distributed systems and observability tooling.
