Senior Estimator – Landscaping & Civil Services

About the role

The Senior Estimator will lead the estimation of hard‑landscaping and civil projects for commercial clients. You will translate client requirements into accurate tender packages, manage the full tender lifecycle and support the operations team with clear quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate a range of hard‑landscaping projects valued between £1 m and £10 m.
• Interpret client specifications, scope of works and commercial requirements.
• Manage the complete tender process from initiation to hand‑over.
• Populate tender documents, produce detailed quotations and forward them to the Operations team.
• Manipulate pricing data using Excel and maintain up‑to‑date price lists from suppliers.
• Document all tenders and quotations in the internal database.

Required profile

• Extensive estimating experience within the landscaping or civil sector.
• Background in hard‑landscaping or civil works, preferably with Tier‑1 contractors.
• Strong analytical, numerical and commercial acumen.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving environment and collaborate effectively with a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
