Senior Family Law Associate (4-5 yrs PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a leading Top‑60 family law practice in Bedford. The role involves handling a broad spectrum of family matters for high‑net‑worth clients, working closely with the Partner.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and manage divorce, cohabitation, wealth protection and complex children matters.
• Develop and maintain specialist knowledge across the family law sector.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and support cross‑team work.
• Identify and develop business development opportunities and referrals.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers.

Required profile

• 4‑5+ years post‑qualification experience as a family solicitor.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage client relationships.
• Excellent drafting and technical legal abilities.
• Proactive, organised and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Family law expertise, including high‑net‑worth matters.
• Supervisory experience of junior staff.
