Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join a large, complex organisation in West London. You will provide commercial financial support across one of the company’s biggest cost bases, working closely with senior leaders, HR and Finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to deliver financial insight for strategic and operational decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate pay proposals, workforce initiatives and other employee‑cost decisions.
• Support pay negotiations through scenario analysis, affordability modelling and clear recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning processes.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, driving cost optimisation and performance improvement.
• Prepare business cases and investment appraisals to inform strategic choices.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, HR and operational teams to influence outcomes.

Required profile

• ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Significant post‑qualified experience in Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Finance.
• Proven experience supporting large‑scale negotiations with financial modelling and commercial analysis.
• Extensive budgeting, forecasting and scenario‑planning experience in large, complex organisations.
• Exposure to managing both CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
