Senior Finance Manager – Hybrid – £75k‑£80k

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Senior Finance Manager to join a fast‑growing business in Leeds City Centre. This hybrid role combines technical finance expertise with strategic business partnering, giving you exposure to senior stakeholders and multi‑project environments.

Key responsibilities

• Review and enhance management accounting systems, processes and controls.
• Oversee the integrity of working papers and underlying ledgers.
• Prepare and critique monthly management accounts, recommending improvements.
• Coach and develop junior team members with hands‑on support.
• Review statutory accounts, accounting policies and technical treatments.
• Provide guidance on refinancing, accounting standards updates and project‑specific policies.
• Act as primary contact for audit and tax partners, driving improvements.
• Attend project board meetings, offering financial insight and monitoring deliverables against loan facility agreements.
• Lead budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and financial modelling activities.
• Build strong relationships with funders and internal/external stakeholders.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Proven experience in a multi‑entity or multi‑project environment.
• Strong stakeholder management with confidence to engage at board level.
• Hands‑on, approachable leader comfortable rolling up sleeves.
• Track record of progression across academic and professional career.
