Senior Finance Manager

About the role

This senior finance position leads the financial function for a fast‑growing business unit in Bristol. You will own the end‑to‑end financial reporting process and shape the financial strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Prepare and present detailed financial analysis to senior leadership for decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with company targets.
• Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise performance and operational efficiency.
• Supervise, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience in financial reporting, analysis and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proactive, results‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with financial software and reporting tools.
