Senior Financial Accountant – Hybrid – Egham

About the role

Join a global technology business serving leading organisations such as Google, Amazon and AstraZeneca. As a Senior Financial Accountant you will be part of the EMEA accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Manager, with hands‑on ownership of month‑end and core accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Own key areas of month‑end, including journals, reconciliations, cash and intercompany accounting.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the Accounting Manager with month‑end close and wider accounting activities.
• Assist with statutory accounting, audits and financial reporting across EMEA.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Qualified, finalist or actively studying towards an accounting qualification.
• 2–3+ years’ experience in a hands‑on financial accounting role with month‑end ownership.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and experience with statutory accounting.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Investigative and accurate, able to resolve discrepancies.
• Commercially minded accountant who enjoys improving processes.
