Senior Financial Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Accounting Manager to lead a high‑performing finance team within a dynamic media business in London. The role offers a competitive package of up to £95,000 and the opportunity to shape financial governance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial reporting, ensuring balance‑sheet integrity and effective controls.
• Manage the monthly and year‑end close process, delivering accurate and timely results.
• Lead statutory and regulatory reporting in line with UK requirements.
• Maintain strong financial governance, audit readiness, and robust controls.
• Drive efficiency in accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Continuously improve finance processes and systems in partnership with the Finance Director.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing and developing a high‑performance finance team.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate financial closes and regulatory reports.
• Strong understanding of UK financial governance and audit requirements.
