Senior Financial Controller – Music Industry (London, Hybrid)

About the role

This senior finance position sits at the heart of a leading music‑industry organisation in London. You will partner with major and independent record labels, support senior executives, and drive the transformation of the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes and produce management accounts, board packs and financial reports.
• Own statutory accounts, regulatory reporting and external audit coordination.
• Maintain balance‑sheet governance, reconciliations and working‑capital management.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and other regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and controls.
• Support strategic projects and act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across distribution, transformation, people, projects and change.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing finance team, deputising for the Finance Director when required.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in senior controllership.
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a visible leadership role and influence senior executives.
