Senior FP&A Manager (6-month Fixed Term)

About the role

Our client, a well‑known consumer‑facing PLC, is seeking a Senior FP&A Manager on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the FP&A & Corporate Finance Director, you will lead a small, qualified finance team and be responsible for delivering performance reporting to the Executive and Board.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly performance reporting for Executive and Board level.
• Lead external reporting inputs, including trading statements and half‑year/full‑year results.
• Manage corporate performance measures such as balanced scorecard reporting and annual target setting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Investor Relations and wider business stakeholders to provide commercial insight and challenge.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to support board‑level decision‑making.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Experience managing, coaching and developing a finance team.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Background in a large, multi‑site or fast‑paced commercial environment is advantageous.
