About the role

Our client, a leading global investment manager, is expanding its European technology team and seeks a Senior Front Office Technology Solutions Engineer. Based in central London, you will work in a hybrid model (3 days on‑site) to shape the future of fixed‑income investment tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, risk and quant teams to understand current tooling and data challenges.
• Design, prototype and deliver scalable front‑office solutions using a modern micro‑services stack.
• Drive automation and productivity improvements through Gen AI and machine‑learning techniques.
• Partner with delivery teams to implement new capabilities and ensure seamless integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion best‑practice engineering standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the asset‑management industry, specifically fixed‑income front‑office.
• Deep understanding of the investment process, including portfolio construction, allocation and risk management.
• Strong analytical mindset to dissect existing tools and workflows.
• Proven leadership in designing and delivering technology solutions.
