Senior Fullstack Developer

About the role

This is a permanent senior position with a hybrid working model, allowing remote work as long as you can attend the London studio in person when needed. The role sits within Framestore’s Oscar‑winning Technology team, focusing on modern, cloud‑forward development of web features that power creative workflows and explore AI‑assisted code and media generation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full‑stack web features, ensuring clean and maintainable code.
• Work in an agile team that prioritises continuous delivery and test‑driven development.
• Implement useful metrics and robust security measures for all features.
• Explore and apply AI techniques to support code and media generation where appropriate.
• Mentor junior developers, champion strong engineering practices and foster collaboration.

Required profile

• Demonstrable expertise in developing features for web platforms.
• Experience working with large‑scale applications.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
• Solid grasp of modern software development practices, including continuous delivery and TDD.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems independently without over‑reliance on AI tools.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies: TypeScript, React, and Vite.
• Hands‑on experience with backend development using Python, FastAPI and databases.
