About the role
Join a respected London restoration workshop where craftsmanship is valued and every project is unique. As a Senior Furniture Restorer you will work on exceptional antique pieces, develop your career, and help maintain the workshop’s high standards of quality.
Key responsibilities
- Assess furniture and create detailed restoration plans.
- Perform high‑quality restoration work, including re‑gluing, refinishing, veneer repairs and structural restoration.
- Supervise, mentor and support junior workshop members.
- Liaise with clients, providing expert advice and regular progress updates.
- Maintain accurate records of all restoration work.
- Organise workloads to meet customer expectations and project deadlines.
Required profile
- Minimum five years’ experience in furniture restoration.
- Full UK driving licence and own comprehensive set of high‑quality hand tools.
- Reliable, organised and self‑motivated with a proactive attitude.
- Authorized to work in the UK.
