Senior Grants Partnerships Manager

About the role

Hope & Homes for Children is seeking a senior, relationship‑driven fundraiser to lead high‑value global partnerships and help millions of separated children return to family. You will own a portfolio of up to ten large trusts, foundations and institutional funders, deepening existing relationships and opening new ones across key regions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high‑value donors (five‑ to seven‑figure grants) across North America, the Gulf States, East Asia, Northern Europe and the UK.
• Research, prospect, and win new institutional donors.
• Develop compelling proposals and steward relationships post‑award.
• Lead assigned institutional funding relationships and contribute to the overall income growth strategy.
• Collaborate closely with Programme and Advocacy teams to align funding with impact.
• Travel occasionally to Salisbury, London and international sites (10‑20% of working time).

Required profile

• Proven track record of securing five, six and seven‑figure grants from large foundations, trusts or institutional donors.
• Excellent proposal writing and complex budget management abilities.
• Exceptional relationship‑management skills with senior audiences.
• Collaborative, culturally empathetic and comfortable with both face‑to‑face cultivation and pipeline development.
• Strong conviction that every child belongs in a family.

What we offer

• Salary £45,200 – £50,500 per annum (including London weighting where applicable).
• Fully flexible working arrangements (remote with occasional office visits).
• 30–37.5 hours per week, permanent contract.
• National and international travel opportunities (up to 10‑20% of time).
