Senior Group Controller

About the role

SF Partners are working exclusively with a dynamic global business to recruit a Senior Group Controller. Reporting to the Finance Leadership team, the role will be central to business controlling, group reporting, financial planning and performance management. The successful candidate will partner with senior stakeholders across regions, providing insight and ensuring accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders, delivering financial analysis and commercial insight.
• Own business controlling activities including budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting and performance tracking.
• Ensure monthly reporting is completed accurately and on time, monitoring departmental expenditure against budget.
• Support month‑end close activities such as consolidation, reconciliation and error resolution.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams and shared services to guarantee reporting accuracy and completeness.
• Provide decision‑support analysis to senior management and contribute to finance transformation projects.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with strong post‑qualification experience in business controlling, manufacturing or corporate reporting.
• Based in Tewkesbury and willing to travel to Europe approximately once per month.
