Senior Group Reporting Accountant – Insurance, IFRS 17

About the role

We are partnering with a leading insurance organisation to hire a Senior Group Reporting Accountant. The role sits within a specialist finance function, supporting high‑quality financial and regulatory reporting in a complex, highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review group financial statements and regulatory reports, including Solvency II and IFRS 17 submissions.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the Group to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and technical accounting developments.
• Maintain relationships with internal teams and external advisors to support reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting background with experience in a regulated financial‑services setting.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex reporting requirements and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate information on schedule.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with influence over key stakeholders.
