Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and support secure digital platforms for Defence and National Security organisations. The role is based in Farnborough and requires daily onsite presence, working closely with architects, engineers and consultants to deliver mission‑critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure infrastructure across complex, multi‑cloud environments.
• Administer and optimise VMware vSphere, vCenter and VCF, Windows Server and Linux platforms.
• Support Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud services, applying Secure‑by‑Design principles.
• Automate deployments and operational processes using PowerShell, Ansible and Terraform.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve high‑severity technical issues.
• Provide technical leadership to customers and delivery teams.
• Contribute to solution design, bid preparation and business growth activities.

Required profile

• UK sole nationality and eligibility for SC/DV security clearance.
• Ability to commute to Farnborough five days a week.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
