Senior Insurance Disputes Solicitor – London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Disputes Solicitor to join a leading insurance team in London. The role offers senior-level autonomy, high‑value client exposure and the chance to shape a growing practice handling complex, cross‑border insurance matters.

Key responsibilities

• Advise insurers and reinsurers on complex coverage and liability defence matters across multiple lines, including cyber, technology, property damage and specialty risks.
• Manage high‑value, cross‑border disputes with an international element, including policy interpretation and subrogated recoveries.
• Develop and implement dispute resolution strategies, covering professional indemnity, fraud and reinsurance claims.
• Supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide clear, commercially‑aware advice.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8 years post‑qualification experience in insurance disputes.
• Proven track record of handling complex coverage and liability matters in the London market.
• Excellent commercial awareness and ability to work independently on high‑value cases.
• Experience supervising junior team members and contributing to firm growth.
