Senior Internal IT Auditor

About the role

GXO Logistics is expanding its Internal Audit function and seeks a Senior Internal IT Auditor to lead SOX ITGC testing and IT internal audits. You will work across global teams, identify risks, improve controls and support business performance in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver SOX ITGC testing and IT audit fieldwork, ensuring controls operate effectively.
• Identify risks, control gaps and improvement opportunities, providing clear recommendations.
• Prepare detailed audit documentation and reports to support findings and business decisions.
• Collaborate with international teams to manage audit cycles, timelines and compliance activities.
• Own assigned audits from planning through completion, maintaining high standards and meeting strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SOX ITGC testing and IT internal audits.
• Strong understanding of IT risk areas such as cybersecurity, cloud, data governance and IT general controls.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple audit cycles.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across global teams.
• Proactive, adaptable mindset focused on continuous improvement.
