About the role
The Senior IT Security Engineer will join a three‑person security team to protect the organisation’s IT infrastructure. You will implement, maintain and monitor security solutions, conduct risk assessments and respond to threats, acting as a technical leader for data and system protection.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the Secure Web Gateway and Email Security Gateway
- Carry out vulnerability scans, identify risks and drive remediation
- Manage perimeter and VPN firewalls
- Administer MFA, SSO, MDM/MAM and Conditional Access policies
- Maintain security certificates and cryptographic keys
- Deliver cyber‑security awareness training to staff
- Remediate findings from penetration testing
Required profile
- Proven experience with a broad security technology stack as listed
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scanning and incident response
- Strong knowledge of firewall, VPN, MFA, SSO and endpoint protection concepts
- Experience delivering security awareness programmes
- Willingness to work hybrid – three days onsite in London and two days remote
