Senior Legal Counsel – Technology & Enterprise Services

About the role

As a Senior Legal Counsel within Sky UK’s Technology & Enterprise Services (TES) Legal team, you will act as a trusted legal adviser and strategic business partner to senior leaders across technology, procurement and corporate functions. You will help shape high‑impact initiatives such as AI, digital transformation, cloud and cyber‑security projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, business‑focused legal advice on complex commercial, technology and supplier agreements.
• Lead negotiation, drafting and execution of high‑value contracts with a high degree of autonomy.
• Support strategic technology programmes including AI, SaaS, cloud, software licensing, outsourcing and data initiatives.
• Advise on a wide range of commercial transactions across procurement, marketing, HR, finance and customer operations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and align legal advice with their strategic objectives.
• Manage multiple complex matters simultaneously, prioritising competing demands.
• Collaborate with legal teams across Sky Group, Comcast and NBCUniversal to ensure consistent, high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with extensive experience in commercial and technology law.
• Strong commercial acumen and sound judgment to balance innovation and risk.
• Proven ability to work independently and as a role model within a legal department.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to influence senior business leaders.
