Senior Legal Counsel – Treasury Operations

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to lead regulatory coverage for its Treasury operations in the United Kingdom. You will advise on the structuring of treasury products and services, supporting both day‑to‑day matters and large‑scale initiatives as the function scales.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice on treasury operations, products, and services.
• Research complex legal questions and deliver analyses to support business decisions.
• Partner with Commercial Legal Counsels to draft, review, and negotiate regulatory clauses in agreements.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for treasury features alongside the Business Compliance team.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report on operational, legal, regulatory, and compliance risks.
• Collaborate with Risk and Compliance to align treasury activities with recovery and resolution planning.
• Monitor global regulatory changes affecting Treasury and advise leadership on actionable steps.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in law with strong academic and law‑firm credentials.
• At least 6 years of treasury experience in investment services or financial markets.
• Background as a private‑practice lawyer at a top law firm.
• Hands‑on experience with MiFID II/MiFIR and EMIR implementation and related contractual frameworks.
• Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to devise practical solutions to legal and regulatory challenges.
• Strong ownership skills and capability to work independently in ambiguous situations.
