Senior Management Accountant

About the role

This is a 1‑2 year fixed‑term position with a leading real‑estate and property development group in Central London. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will partner with the leadership team to deliver high‑quality financial reporting, budgeting and strategic analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, board reports and insightful variance analysis.
• Deliver financial analysis across revenue, margins, costs, cash flow and overall business performance.
• Lead financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Partner with operational teams to provide commercial finance support and challenge.
• Produce statutory accounts and lead the year‑end audit process.
• Coordinate with external tax advisers to ensure tax compliance.
• Prepare lender reporting and monitor loan covenant compliance.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting and support treasury management.
• Maintain strong financial controls and drive continuous process improvements.
• Optimise finance systems, reporting tools and automation.
• Guide the Finance Manager and contribute to the development of the wider finance team.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Experience in the real‑estate/property sector.
• Significant background in management accounting, FP&A or a comparable commercial finance role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including statutory reporting and audit.
