Senior Manager – Accounting & Tax (Surrey)

About the role

TPF Recruitment is supporting a growing accountancy practice in Surrey with a senior leadership role. The Senior Manager will lead the accounting and tax team, manage a significant client portfolio and drive technical delivery and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Surrey accounting team.
• Take overall responsibility for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Review accounts, tax and compliance work produced by the team.
• Provide technical guidance on accounting, tax and compliance matters.
• Manage workflow, deadlines, budgets and financial performance of the portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and add value for existing clients.
• Oversee AML compliance and maintain client risk assessments.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Significant post‑qualification experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and UK tax legislation.
• Proven experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team.
