Senior Manager, Data, UK

About the role

Eucalyptus, the world's leading consumer healthcare platform, is looking for a Senior Manager, Data, UK to lead its UK data organisation and help build a scalable, standardised data platform across international markets. The role leads a multidisciplinary team of Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering, growing to 4-5 people by the end of the year, and partners with Product, Commercial, Clinical and Operations leaders in the UK and with Data and Technology leaders in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the UK data team across Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering and Data Science, setting direction, priorities and operating model.
• Partner with UK Product, Commercial, Analytics and Operations leaders to shape and deliver the international data roadmap.
• Work with global Data and Technology leaders to build a consistent, scalable, internationally aligned data platform.
• Lead the data strategy and execution for launching new markets and new brands.
• Oversee the migration of international data platforms onto shared GCP infrastructure, including migrations from Databricks and Redshift to GCP.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural judgement across data, ML and platform decisions, and build a high-performing, accountable team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience across data engineering, machine learning, data science or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience building, scaling or leading a modern data platform.
• Strong commercial and product judgement, able to link technical investment to business outcomes.
• Ability to prioritise, manage competing demands and communicate with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Ideally experience leading complex platform migrations, international expansion or large-scale technology transformations.
