Senior Manager, International Business Strategy

About the role

BDO is looking for a Senior Manager to join its International Business Strategy team. You will analyse global market trends, assess competitive dynamics and help shape strategic plans that drive growth across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research on global markets to identify trends, opportunities and threats.
• Analyse economic indicators, consumer behaviour and regulatory factors affecting international markets.
• Perform competitor analysis covering growth, performance and service offerings.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and refine international business strategies aligned with BDO’s objectives.
• Create a compelling global narrative and communication strategy that reflects BDO’s mission and values.
• Monitor industry developments, regulations and emerging trends, sharing insights with internal teams.
• Identify and assess risks in international markets and propose mitigation measures.
• Leverage data analytics to generate actionable insights and maintain KPIs that measure strategy success.

Required profile

• MSc or MBA preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 8 years of management‑consulting experience or strategy development within a large multinational.
• Strong research capabilities and familiarity with market data providers.
• Excellent project‑management and communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
