Senior North American Property Broker / Director

About the role

We are seeking a Senior North American Property Broker/Director to join a fast‑growing Lloyd's brokerage. The role is based in London and focuses on placing US and Canadian property risks across Lloyd's and company markets.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business development and generate new US property business.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and portfolio growth.
• Place complex US property risks on binders and in the open market.
• Produce technical documentation, including MRC slips and other placement paperwork.
• Negotiate terms with Lloyd's underwriters and US wholesale agents.
• Develop relationships with third‑party brokers and international clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a producing broker or divisional director handling complex US property risks.
• Strong knowledge of US and Canadian property insurance markets.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate competitive terms with Lloyd's underwriters.
• Experience working in a dual role within a Lloyd's brokerage, balancing workload and team communication.
• Self‑motivated, driven and able to adapt to a diverse, expanding business.
