About the role
This part‑time senior position supports the delivery of systemic anti‑cancer therapies across NHS Ayrshire and Arran. You will work from University Hospital Crosshouse and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient oncology settings.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, provide, manage and evaluate a specialised clinical oncology pharmacy service.
- Participate in local and national MDT meetings to ensure safe delivery of cancer therapies.
- Prescribe as a Non‑Medical Prescriber within a defined clinical area.
- Contribute to clinical governance and specialist group activities.
- Support research initiatives and advanced practice skill development.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in oncology pharmacy, including haematology.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel to other hospital sites as needed.
Required skills
- Non‑Medical Prescribing qualification.
