Senior Paraplanner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Paraplanner to join our financial planning team in Leeds. The successful candidate will support advisers by preparing comprehensive financial plans and ensuring compliance with FCA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial plans, suitability reports and client letters.
• Conduct cash‑flow modelling and forecasting.
• Compile documentation to justify investment, pension, EIS, VCT, IHT and protection recommendations.
• Assist in client meetings, take notes and follow up on actions.
• Manage own workflow and drive process improvements within the paraplanning team.

Required profile

• Diploma Level 4 qualification; Level 6 Chartered status is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the financial planning process and FCA compliance.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work the first time.
• Experience in report writing and investment/product market research.

Required skills

• Financial modelling.
• Use of financial planning tools and back‑office software.

What we offer

• Salary £55,000‑£65,000 per year.
