Senior Pensions Administrator

About the role

Isio’s thriving Pensions Administration business is expanding and seeks a technically competent, member‑focused Senior Pensions Administrator. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and is based in our Croydon office with a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality service to a portfolio of Defined Benefit pension scheme clients and their members.
• Process scheme activities in line with scheme rules and client Service Level Agreements.
• Perform complex pension calculations, enter data and respond to enquiries using both automated and manual systems.
• Communicate with clients and members on complex queries and attend trustee or client meetings when required.
• Peer‑review work to ensure compliance with legislation and scheme rules.
• Stay updated on technical, procedural and legislative changes affecting the portfolio.
• Mentor and coach less‑experienced team members.
• Manage small‑scale ad‑hoc projects and collaborate with risk and compliance teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Senior Pensions Administrator delivering services to Defined Benefit schemes.
• Strong knowledge of DB scheme types, legislation and member calculation processes.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, members and colleagues.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet SLA targets.
• Analytical mindset with a drive to improve ways of working.
